Hello buddy! The biggest science competition event in Indonesia, namely the 2021 National Science Competition for junior high school level has ended. The competition, which was abbreviated as KSN, gave birth to new champions from various educational units in Indonesia.
KSN is organized by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology (Kemendikbudristek) of the Republic of Indonesia through the National Achievement Center. This agenda is carried out regularly every year in order to encourage the enthusiasm and fighting spirit of the participants regarding science. This activity is a strategic place to improve the quality of the learning process.
In 2021, the theme raised is “I am Healthy, I am Great, Indonesia is Strong”. This year’s KSN is held online considering the condition of Indonesia which is still in the period of the Covid-19 pandemic.
There are several fields that are contested in KSN. These fields are Natural Sciences (IPA), Mathematics, and Social Sciences (IPS).
The evaluation and determination of winners is carried out by the jury and submitted to the central committee to be determined by the Head of the National Achievement Center Kemendikbudristek.
The winners of the KSN have been officially ratified and determined through the Decree of the Head of the National Achievement Center of the Secretariat General of the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology Number: 2826/J3/Dm.01.03/2021.
In the decision letter, each competition field has 100 winners with a composition of 15 gold medalists, 20 silver medalists, 25 bronze medalists, and 40 winners of Honorable Mention (IPA) medals or medals of hope (IPS and Mathematics).
