Core activities |
1. At the beginning of the lesson, the teacher welcomes the students. 2. The teacher asks students to observe the student’s book from pages 1-3. 3. The teacher shows how to get acquainted, as Edo and Beni did in the student book page 3. 4. Students are invited to get to know each other through a ball throwing game and the teacher explains the rules of the game. (Students are asked to circle, may sit or stand, and the teacher gives an example of how to throw and catch the ball correctly). 5. The game starts from the teacher by introducing himself, “Good morning, my name is Mrs. / Mr. ….. then, long name ….. usually called Mrs. / Mr. ….. then, throws the ball at one of the students (avoid throwing the ball by hard). 6. The student who catches the ball must state his full name and nickname. Then, he threw it to another friend. Friend who catches the ball throw, mentions full name and nickname. 7. And so on until all students introduce themselves. 8. After students introduce themselves, the teacher invites students to sing while recalling the names of their friends in class. The teacher uses the songs in the student book. 9. Students remain in the circle position. The teacher gives an example of how to sing the song “What is your name” patting the friend next to him and his friend, saying his name while following the rhythm of the song and so on. 10. The activity closed with a discussion on the importance of getting to know each other, because if you don’t know you don’t love. Try the teacher to provide reinforcement about the importance of getting to know each other. 11. After a discussion about the importance of getting to know each other, the teacher explains that to get to know friends’ names, we can also use business cards. 12. The teacher says that the students will make business cards. 13. The teacher distributes cardboard pieces the size of a business card. 14. The teacher distributes paper with the student’s name on it to each student to serve as an example for writing. 15. Then, students are asked to write their names on business cards and decorate or color their own business cards. 16. After that, the teacher explains that the business card will be used while at school or displayed in class. |

1. Together, students make conclusions/summaries of learning outcomes for a day. 2. Ask and answer questions about the material that has been studied (to find out the results of material achievement). 3. Assessing learning outcomes. 4. Teach all students to pray according to their respective religions and beliefs (to end learning activities). a. The teacher observes the student’s attitude in praying (sitting posture, how to read it, how to recite it, etc.). b. Immediately give advice, if there are students who are less correct and less perfect in praying, so that tomorrow when praying is more perfected. |
