A. Threats to National Integration

1. Threats in the Military Field

Military threats are threats that come from foreign militaries. The forms of military threats include:

  • Territory violation
  • Foreign military aggression
  • Development of foreign military weapons
  • Foreign-backed armed rebellion

2. Non-Military Threats

Non-military threats have different characteristics from military threats, namely they are not physical in nature and their form is invisible. These non-military threats can take the form of:

  • Ideology
  • Political
  • Economy
  • Socio-cultural
  • Information Technology
  • General sovereignty

B. Threats in the field of IPOLEKSOSBUDHANKAM

Threats are every business and activity, both domestically and abroad, which are deemed to endanger the sovereignty of the state, the territorial integrity of the country, and the safety of the entire nation.

1. Threats in the field of ideology

Threats in the field of ideology, for example, are the entry of the understanding of liberalism to Indonesian society

2. Threats in the Political Field

Threats in the political field, for example, are intimidation, provocation, or political blockades intensified by other countries against Indonesia

3. Threats in the Economy

Threats in the economic field, for example, are the existence of economic globalization

4. Threats in the Socio-Cultural Sector

Threats in the socio-cultural field can be distinguished into threats from within and from outside. Examples of threats from within, for example, are the emergence of issues of poverty, ignorance, etc. which cause problems in the form of thuggery, separatism, etc. hedonistic character.

5. Threats in Defense and Security

Threats in this field, for example, are foreign military invasions against Indonesia.

C. Community Participation to Overcome Various Threats in

1. Building National Integration

As a good society, we should take a role in defending the Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia from all threats. The roles that the community can play to overcome various threats in building national integration include the following:

  • Does not discriminate against diversity, for example in ethnicity, culture,
  • area and so on
  • Carry out worship according to their beliefs and religion
  • Building awareness of the importance of national integration
  • Doing mutual cooperation in the context of increasing awareness in the community, nation and state
