INOBELPANTI CREATES INTERESTING, QUALITY, AND FUN LEARNING DURING THE PANDEMI (NOMINATION FOR INNOVATIVE INDONESIAN TEACHER AWARD)-SEYEGAN STATE 1 SMA

Realizing Distance Learning (PJJ) in an interesting, quality, and fun way is not easy. A teacher must be able to utilize various learning media as learning resources by first analyzing the characteristics of students, so that the content of the material and its presentation is in accordance with the objectives set. In addition, the use of learning media must adjust the ability of a teacher, because the teacher’s role as a facilitator in learning certainly plays an important role in achieving the success of the learning carried out. Learning resources must also generate a positive response from students, so teachers need to periodically evaluate their effectiveness.

As a Chemistry subject teacher at the high school level, it is certainly not easy to teach Chemistry, which is partly abstract during the pandemic. This is precisely the challenge to carry out the INNOVATION of the teaching of Tan PA He NTI ( INOBELPANTI ) teaching in order to be able to present interesting, quality, and fun learning during the pandemic.

The first INOBELPANTI practices are YOU tube, WA Group, ZOO m Meeting, and GO Google Form ( YOUWAZOOGO ). The purpose of this learning is to present learning as closely as possible to the real class. The combination of the created YouTube Channel , accompanied by WA Group (facilitating communication), combined with Zoom Meeting to facilitate virtual meetingsso that there is no distortion of student understanding and as a final complement is the Google Form which is used to provide quizzes and surveys related to learning evaluation to find out the best learning they want. Here’s the link to my youtube channel: Yuli Nestya YouTube Channel

Over time I adopted YOUWAZOOGO into YOU tube, WA Group, ZOO m Meeting, Ma YA Laboratory ( YOUWAZOOYA ), this is my second INOBELPANTI. The new thing from this learning is the use of a Virtual Laboratory to facilitate virtual experiments without having to go to a real laboratory. Here’s the video link: Utilization of the Virtual Laboratory

As time goes by, students need a variety of new things that are different and interesting, so it is hoped that it will provide enthusiasm in learning. The third INOBELPANTI practice was created to bridge students (based on the survey results) who prefer an attractive visual appearance of learning. This lesson involves making teaching materials media in the form of Carbohydrate Infographic designs and Colloidal Chemistry Learning Comics using Canva for Education . For comic design, learning can be done independently or in collaboration with sharing settings as an editor.

After almost a year of the pandemic, it turns out that the boredom of students is starting to be felt, so that the activity becomes less and less and has an impact on the decrease in the enthusiasm of students to learn. This condition triggered me to release the fourth INOBELPANTI with the theme Collaboration Using Google Slides . In this learning, one class consisting of 36 students will have a series of slides with the theme of the material that has been determined according to the realm of the material being taught. One student is given the authority to fill out 1 Google Slides page (page division according to the number of absences). Students can collaborate, ask each other difficulties to get solutions to other students, so that a series of magic is realized on Google Slidesintact. The advantages that students get include: increasing activity, honing creativity, increasing collaboration between students, and being time efficient because at the end of learning 1 student will get another 35 pages that have been made by other students.

For now, PJJ has switched to Limited Face-to-face Learning (PTMT) which is carried out in a blended learning manner, i.e. 50% learns from home and 50% carries out learning from school. Referring to this challenge, a learning design is needed that pays attention to various aspects, including the accuracy of the methods and media used, so that students will remain comfortable and well served, so that the fifth INOBELPANTI appears, namely Collaborative Learning Using Google Sites.strengthened by Interactive Learning Media (MPI) Using Differentiated Learning Model. When collaborating using Google Sites, one student is given one sub page to fill in with the material that has been determined according to the number of absences. Meanwhile, for MPI, the materials and quizzes are prepared by the teacher so that they can be applied to an android phone like a child playing games because MPI is designed to resemble a game so that students feel comfortable and happy in learning. During collaborative learning using Google Sitesas well as when strengthening material using MPI, students are given the freedom to express ideas and ideas according to the material that has been determined (product differentiation). When using MPI, students are also free to choose how long it takes to study and take quizzes (process differentiation). In fact, differentiated learning is an attempt to adapt the learning process in the classroom to meet individual learning needs. The adjustments referred to are related to interests, learning profiles, and student readiness in order to achieve increased learning outcomes. Differentiated learning is more likely to accommodate the strengths and needs of students with independent learning strategies. In differentiated learning, teachers are required to understand students continuously,

Through collaborative learning using Google Sites combined with MPI as material reinforcement and carried out in the corridor of differentiated learning, learning can run in a conducive, collaborative, interesting, quality, and fun way, so that students are actively involved, able to understand learning materials well and develop unique potential each student in order to develop optimally.

The teacher is a director and actor who plans and plays his role in learning in the classroom. The greatness of the director and actor is certainly not on the basis of self-assessment, but all the students he teaches. Therefore, the evaluation of students is very necessary. Let our students judge what it is, because with this the teacher is able to improve himself to become a better director and actor. To evaluate the learning that we have done, one of them is using testimonials that are requested to be done using Canva.

The results we get, of course, will not deny the efforts that have been made. Much has been done, but that is not the end of an achievement. All continue to progress towards improvement. All efforts are constantly evaluated, improved, and developed to be even better, for the advancement of the education of the country’s children. As an educator, the main task is only one, namely to always strive to become an educator who is always awaited and missed by his presence in the classroom.
